4 weeks down

been a while since i posted, but i've done well. I missed 2 work-outs, one on a friday I woke up with a headache and took some excedrine on an empty stomach, went back to bed and spent the rest of the morning vomiting. Then the Sunday night after, Sam was puking most of the night and I slept in that morning. Been managing my diet pretty closely, few slips. I haven't lost any weight but I feel like I'm fitting my jeans better. Go Teresa!

Week 2

GO TERESA!!

Successfully completed my first week.

We had brownies and ice cream on Sunday night with our redbox. Not so good a start to week 2. BUT I did work out yesterday and today for an hour. AND I maintained a 1600 cal diet yesterday, today it was more like 1800 (I made sweet and sour chicken for dinner--I used splenda and didn't bead or deep fry the chicken but I had a big serving...).
SO, Sunday bad. Redeemed myself Monday and Tuesday, and I plan to rock the rest of the week.

Food and Execise Diary: WEEK 1

Day One:

I did it! I got up at 5:30 am and worked out. First time really putting our new heater to the test; it was freakin cold out there in the garage, but both Rich and I made it through. The whole time you could see your breath, and at one point I was laying on the ground watching the heat and sweat steam off my face. Pretty cool.

Not so good on diet management, but not too bad either.
I had some low-cal/fat free yogurt--60 calories--and a slice of pound cake (what can I say, it was there calling my name; iee, that was the not so good part) for breakfast.
I had a grapefruit, plain as Spain for mind morning snack (it wasn't that bad), um about 150 cals.
Lunch was a lean cusine, 270 cals/5 grams of fat (prolly less then that slice of pound cake...sigh).
Afternoon snack was most of an orange and about 10 salt water taffys, round up to 200 cals.
For dinner I just baked one of those frozen pizzas, I think I consumed about 650-700 cals there, and I don't even want to think about how much fat.

I drank nothin but water all day!

So I think I ate about 1500-1600 cals today. Like I said, not so good, but not so bad either.

Bust: measure around the chest, right at the nipple line--don't pull the tape too tight
Chest: measure just under your bust
Waist: measure a 1/2 inch above your belly button or at the smallest part of your waist
Hips: measure around the biggest part of your hips
Thigh: measure around the biggest part of each thigh
Calves: measure around the thickest part of your calves
Upper Arm: measure above your elbow at the thickset part
Forearm: measure at the largest part of your arm below your elbow
